Sid Meier's Pirates

As a history buff, this is one of my favorite games. I would like to see more civilizations though (maybe get kind of creative by adding groups like a Papal Fleet like the one that defeated the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto).

I gave the iPad version 5 stars but on the iPhone version my ship gets stuck in towns or has difficulty entering them. Many bugs. Also I really miss not actually being able to bombard towns. Rather disappointing. Hopefully they will improve it in future updates.

This game is great. It has everything people are looking for when playing a game. The gameplay is fun and complex, the story is interesting and the game is worth the cost. The character can choose to follow the story or just go around attacking other ships. While the graphics are

Played it on the computer when I was a kid, great port except for the lack of land battles.

Good to see a real game title reach the iPhone for once.
