The auto sync and pass code features are indispensable for me.

1) The suggestion that, if after updating to the latest, the app crashes on launch you should just delete the app and reinstall -- is amazingly cavalier! You will, of course, lose everything you have stored with WriteRoom! You might think this was worth a mention. Sheesh. [UPDATE

Best text editing/full screen app for iPhone

After the recent update, I can not open writeroom on my iPhone. What happened? BAd update. In general the app is great and I have been very happy using it over the years. Highly recommended ( after the repaired update)

I use Writeroom to have access to all my notes in Dropbox. On the Mac, I use Notational Velocity. Writeroom keeps all my NV notes a tap away. Functional and beautiful.

Love this app, both on the iPhone and iPad. Very easy to set background and text colors (green on black is very restful for my migraine prone eyes). Syncs across all devices, including my Mac, without any problem. On the iPad it has a tab key and arrow keys.
