Gaia GPS - Offline Topo Maps and GPS Tracker

I use it all the time when I go on hiking trips. Having detailed offline maps on the device proves to be a lifesaver!

Good software for off road navigation

Excellent for trail planning. I have used extensively in ADK and on the AT. It was also very helpful for tooling around in Australia, both on road and taking day hikes.

I was looking for a well rated topo gps for hiking but wouldnt spend the ten bucks right away. I got some itunes as a gift and figured this seems possibly worth it and holy ************ i would have paid more for it. Its very accurate an gives you a comprehensive read out of you
